Lumen is a Catholic app for the Daily Examen of St Ignatius of Loyola: a guided prayerful review of the day whose entries stay encrypted on your own device.

The Lumen app guides you through it in seven steps, from settling in through gratitude and review to contrition and resolution. It also offers a journal and help in preparing for confession. Looking at the day in God's light
St Ignatius of Loyola urged his companions to keep one short practice above all: the Examen, a prayerful review of the day. It is also known as the Prayer of Loving Attention. We give thanks for the good, ask for clear sight, go through the day, ask forgiveness and make a resolution for tomorrow.
The Lumen app helps keep this practice alive in everyday life. In about fifteen minutes each evening it leads through seven steps. A journal keeps what becomes visible over weeks, and a confession guide helps with the step to the sacrament. All entries stay encrypted on your own device. There is no account and no advertising.
Lumen is available for iPhone and Android in six languages. The core features are free; extended features come with the optional MAGIS subscription. More at lumenexamen.com.

Flyer
A6 handout, front and back, with a QR code to the website. It fits the literature rack, a retreat folder or the notice board next to the confession times.
The PDF (A6 with 3 mm bleed) suits the parish office printer and most print shops. The PDF/X-3 print file (1 mm bleed, FOGRA39) is prepared for online printers. The flyer is currently in German only.
QR code and links
The QR code leads to lumenexamen.com. From there, each phone is sent to the App Store or Google Play. If you need a code for one store only, use the links below.

For spiritual directors and retreat houses
If you accompany people spiritually or run a retreat house, we will gladly give you one-year codes for MAGIS, the full scope of the app: for yourself and, where it fits, for your guests at the end of their retreat. The Examen is the part of the Exercises that goes home with them.
The codes work on iPhone and Android. They simply expire after one year and never turn into a paid subscription; nothing is ever charged.
